Welcome
Welcome to this blog that aims to join wills and efforts in order to achieve what has been impossible for decades. Many people have joined this initiative, sharing contacts, setting up bridges of communication, or as volunteers in this crusade. S.O.S. SPANISH COASTLINE is the name of a project that will become a reality soon and that will reflect the urgent necessity to halt the exploitation suffered by many coastal aereas, especially in Adalusia, the region of Murcia, the region of Valencia and Catalonia. In these places the destruction of habitat and landscape has been incalculable; linked to the breaking of the law, administrative corruption, the handling of large amounts of money, and immoral and little solidarity lifestyles. This blog intends to be the newspaper of the udertaken initiatives, and their results of triumphs and setbacks. A group of people have joined forces to make it happen, as you can see in the team tab. But there are many more engaged by the passion for photography and the love and respect for Nature. It’s possible that we find many drawbacks on our way, the big interests that surround speculation may prevail over the common interest, and perhaps our efforts will no come to fruition. However, we attend this call by a need and an obligation as individuals, citizens and as guarantors of a legacy for future generations. Visiting this blog, deepening in its issues, asking questions and aswering, is a way to support this initiative. Contributing editors will often publish data, expiriences, analysis, pictures… that let us know what has happened, or what’s happening, where and why. The undisputed star is going to be the current state our coast, in the landscapes it treasures and the damage it has suffered. I Hope you’ll feel the call of implication, that you get involved as much as you can in supporting us, in getting informed, in keeping this uneven struggle. Tahnk you, Jose B. Una idea genial, el poder de la fotografía puede ser inmenso, y seguro que con el granito de arena de cada uno se pueden hacer muchas cosas, es la manera de cambiar el mundo, poco a poco y con firmeza. Contar con todo lo que yo pueda hacer desde mi querido rincón del Cabo de Gata. Abrazos!!

Me parece una buena iniciativa lo que habéis planteado con esta especie de fotoblog de denuncia. Ojalá que las administraciones también se implicasen con el proyecto y se sensibilizasen más con el tema protegiendo más y mejor los ecosistemas naturales, en este caso los paisajes costeros, que hay en el territorio español (y por extrapolación también en todo el planeta).
