I thank once and again the warm reception from the groups of photographers at Ibiza and the people of the Consell, whom I had also interesting conversations. The immediate perception is that something´s moving in the island, a change for better and a chance to be hopeful.
CRETU AFFAIR
My arrival to the island was in coincidence with the knock down of Michael Cretu´s mansión and Studio. The home of the Enigma musical group leader has an estimated value of more than 10 millions euro, built up in an area of the higgest ecologic value. Permissions where arranged by the last Island Gobernment, ignoring the law. As a step forward in outlaw, it was intended to legalize the construction by a aditional disposal in the law of budgets of the community in 2004. The Councillor declared reciently it has been “one of the biggest nonsenses” aproved by an addition to the law of budgets. The abolition of the “Cretu amnesty” has been a common sense demonstration opposite to the abuses in the past. The land –up in a mountain- has the strongest protection in the Balearic law of natural areas. The Supreme Court decided in 2003 to knock down the complex, more than 3.000 square meters at Corona de Sant Antoni. Cretu digged down by 3 meters the heighth of the hill and raised an arab style fortress with a volume of 7.000 cubic meters, more than 4 times what was irregularly approved in the project. The law process has lasted 14 years. The judge still is investigating the penal responsabilities of owner, officials and major.
A NATURAL PARK DISSAPEARS
In 2003, and again by the irregular formula of two additional disposals to a law of budgets, was disprotected the Cala d´Hort natural park, an area classified as LIC, which could be built up because of the change of qualification. The protected area was changed from 2.774 Ha to 0,5 Ha. That couldn´t be moved because of an important archaeological site, Ses Païses10. At the same time the Balearic Gobernment cancelled the golf courses moratorium. Ibiza only had in that time 2 Natural parks, and this one, the whole Cala d´Hort and the islands of Es Vedrá and Es Vedranell at the background, the better in landscape values.
MORATORIUM TO COASTAL BUILDING
The Gobern of the Balearic Islands plans to stop urgently, and with the oposition of several town majors, the construction of a group of polemic urbanizations locaed in fragile coastal areas and also close to main towns. In the Parliament, the president announced actions against the “bleeding urbanism” through a future project of law, of slower tramitation.
He said it was time to “measure with special attention” the coastal development, for environmental and economic-touristic reasons. The landscape is the main richness source, and
we cannot waste the natural resources, make impacts at the coast and allow an unmeasurable residetial growth also uncompatible with a quality tourism.
This politic decission was tagged as a “historical attitude”
The new gobernment wants to undo part of the politic heritage of the outcoming pannel, who dictated exceptions to the land protection and allowed to build in protected areas.
The urgent moratorium against uncontrolled urbanism, construction of aproved projects and free soil in old palns at Ses Feixes –in the heart of Ibiza harbour-, Sa Porrassa at San Josep of Ibiza, with 200 licensed houses in a virgin area, almost starting to be built, and the beautiful area at Benirrás, at Sant Joan of Ibiza.

el problema en las islas, es el mismo que en todo el litoral español, pero agravado por el hecho de que los “señores feudales” son los propietarios tanto de los terrenos, como de las constructoras, graveras, navieras, y además controlan y/o forman parte de la clase política a casi todos los niveles, por lo que se convierte en un “yo me lo guiso…” con la población como pura expectadora y sufridora de sus abusos.

El problema de este blog es que promete mucho más de lo que da, pues, según sus “Ideales y objetivos”, se trata de “analizar todo el litoral español, documentando su estado por zonas y realizando un amplio fondo fotográfico sobre las zonas mejor conservadas y con grandes valores paisajísticos”, pero el análisis serio y riguroso brilla por su ausencia, y la documentación no consiste más que en unas cuantas noticias muy breves y sin interés analítico (no digamos ya científico!).
La noticia asociada a este comentario, en la que José nos informa sobre una visita a Ibiza, y aparte de un único caso en el que se cuenta la afortunada decisión de derruir la casa del tal Michael Cretu y la breve descripción de la destrucción del parque natural de Cala d’Hort, el resto se deja al optimismo suscitado en él por las nuevas autoridades (“…algo se mueve en Ibiza y por fin es algo esperanzador”). Hola Miguel, pues en parte tienes razón. El blog pretende ser un diario de actividades y noticias, empezar a difundir las campañas y actuaciones de los grupos adheridos y funcionar como base y resumen de estos análisis.
La Web del proyecto es la que recogerá estos informes. El de Ibiza tienes unas 32 páginas y recoge todos los datos que he podido recopilar tanto allí, como de informes y documentos.
Las imágenes realizadas son cerca de mil y algunas las puedes encontrar en el mapa de Ibiza y en flickr.
Digamos que la parte científica y documentada está por venir, un poco de paciencia, pues acabamos de comenzar.
Nuestro asesor Fernando Prieto acaba de pasarnos un artículo que te gustará y verás en breve aquí, pues contiene datos inéditos y es incluso “demasiado científico para este blog”.

DESGRACIADAMENTE ESTE PROBLEMA NOS AFECTA EN TODO EL MUNDO YO SOY DE LA CIUDAD DE MEXICO Y TODO EL TIEMPO COMO TODOS ANHELO IR A ALGUN LUGAR SOÑADO COMO NUESTRAS PLAYAS O BOSQUES (son mis lugares favoritos) HACE ALGUNOS AÑOS TUVE LA OPORTUNIDAD DE VISITAR CANCUN Y XCARET UN LUGAR MAGICO , EN EL TRAYECTO CON ENORME TRIZTEZA Y NO PUDE CONTENER LAS LAGRIMAS ,VI COMO LAS ENORMES MAQUINAS PARA EXCAVAR Y GRUAS HIDRAULICAS REMOVIAN GRANDES PARTES DE MANGLARES , YA EN ALGUNAS PARTES ESTA INUNDADO DE CONDOMIOS MUY LUJOSOS , A LOS POCOS DIAS DE MI VISITA , EN LOS NOTICIEROS SALIO DE ESTO QUE LES ESTOY HABLANDO , SACARON IMAGENES Y TODO UN ALBOROTO , PERO EN ESO QUEDO, YA NO ESCUCHO NADA DE ESE TEMA Y REGRESE A ESE LUGAR Y ¿QUE CREEN? Agresiones entre 2003 y 2007, cierto. peró destcar que en 2009 se realiza el plan de gestión de las playas de la ciudad de Ibiza, de los sistemas dunares del Parque natural de Ses Salines y en 2010 el plan de gestión de la zona costera del ANEI de cala Compte (Sant Josep, acciones realizadas por QU4TRE, consultoria ambiental especializada en geomorfologia litoral.

Me gustaría que diérais un vistazo a mi blog ibizaapiedefoto y decirme si puedo colaborar con vosotros en algún tema. Llevo cinco años publicando fotos de Ibiza y denunciando algunas atrocidades y me gustaría seguir así. Un saludo.
