MEDIA RELATIONS

Mi name is Javier Sánchez and jsmoral the nick I frequently use in the Internet.

My feeling is I have always enjoyed photography although some years ago I started to go deeper in this hobby (now passion) when I received my first digital camera as a present.

I like all kind of photography, but I specially love wildlife photography and exploring small worlds. It is difficult to describe all the feelings that arise when one is nearly to capture a frame. Excitation, waiting, happiness, frustration, are feelings that all photographers has feltwhile developing this wonderful hobby, profession for few ones. Insofar these feelings and sensations are part of the life of a human being, I can say photography, with no doubts, makes me feel alive.

In 2005 I was awarded with the third prize in Sigma Foto 2005 Competition in modality Long lenses, and achieved a first prize in Photos of the Year Competition, january 2005, wildlife category. I have also showed my work in several exhibitions.

On the other hand, I am passionate of new technologies and from years ago I write my own blog about photography, as well as actively participate in social networks like facebook, flickr and others.
