BOTANIC, ADVICER IN COASTAL ECOSYSTEMS

Madrid, 1975.

Degree in Biology Sciences by Valencia University. Worked in projects with flora and vegetation in coastal ecosistems and also the problems to manage and preserve them, remarking the changes that affect to the landscape, threatened species and exotic flora invading the habitat.

Author of two books about the coastline of Valencia Region: “Coastal vegetation and changes in the landscape of Castellon province” and “Guide to the nature of Castellón seashore. Routes to know more about flora, wildlife and landscape”.

She was awarded in 1998 the City of Castellon of Sciences Award.

Also worked in several botanical projects as the Plan to Manage the Biological Resources of the Natural Park of Cuenca Mountains and the Management plans of the flora microreserves at the Valencia Region and Castilla-La Mancha.
Since her first research works, she efforted in spreading the experiences and data about the world of investigation, so she developed workshops and conferences in different themes of biology and botany.

Her hobbies are travel and photography.

Teacher in Botany at Valencia University, and since 2005 works as well as teacher in Botany at the Politecnic University of Valencia in the degrees of Environmental Sciences and Technical Forestry Engineering. She is member of the Institute of Research for Integrated Management in Coastal Areas (IGIC).
